1. How many cups of tea do you have a day? How many sugars?
Honestly ? None ( Dont hate me or throw me out of the country!) I'm not a fan of hot drinks at all unless its really bad English winter weather then I will have a warm milk or hot chocolate but absolutely no tea, I dont like the taste of it, so no tea for Holly. I feel so un-british.

2. Favourite part of a roast?

My favourite parts is always the crispy Roast Potatoes and the stuffing! they are so delicious especially when I cook the roast becuase then I sneak one every so often ;) but when it comes round to christmas you cannot beat pigs in blankets! Actually just every bit o a roast is pure heaven!

Chocolate Hob-Nobs!!! They are the nicest biscuits ever I cannot get of them they are perfect, if you havent tried them yet.. do! they are the best biscuit ever and they dont break when you dunk them!

Its not my favourite word but I love the way British people say "literally" and we say it a lot and it always sounds amazing no matter what accent it is in, and I agree with Amber with how Benjamin Cook says 'enunciate' :)

6. Cockney rhyming slang?
I dont know much cockney rhyming slang but I like 'dog and bone' and 'apple and pears' sorry Im not from London

Things I wish I knew…
Last Year

Okay we all know that we learn from our mistakes regardless of whether they are big or small. We can still learn from them and improve ourselves. This time last year I had just found out I had gotten into University and would be moving into student accommodation, and living with people I didn't know. Not only that but I was going alone to a new place where I knew barely anyone, and since everyone is going back to/starting school or university I thought I would give you some tips I wish I knew before I started my course last year...

  • You are not the only one who is nervous/scared - Okay I was terrified to start at a new place with people I didn't know and live with people I didn't know, so much that I cried my first night there (yeah I know I was acting like a baby) but thankfully the amazing girls I was living with were really nice and calmed me down and then we went to meet our whole building and had an amazing time, and I found out lots of people were scared about living somewhere new meeting new people, but I promise you once you meet people and  start talking the worry you had been harboring inside melts away. I promise everyone is in the same boat we've just got to sail through this journey together.

  •  Don't neglect your studies - Yes I know this sounds stupid and something we have all heard a thousand times by our teachers, and it seems silly since that is the prime reason we are at school/university but its our nature to just not want to do our work. But I am telling you, if I knew then what I now with regards to my grades I would have spent so much more time working on my studies and my work instead of leaving it to a few days before the deadline which my flatmates always noticed and kept telling me to change, if I had listened to them I would have gotten much better grades than I got, and wouldn't have missed opportunities to go out with friends and have a good time. So please if there is one tip you take away from this please focus on your studies.

  • Don't neglect your friends - These people are the ones you want around you when you're upset, confused, feeling sick or feeling kinda crappy and need someone to cheer you up. There have been so many times where my friends have been my absolute anchor to everything, without them I really don't think I could have survived the year to be perfectly honest. My friends are some of the best people in my life and I don't know what I would do without them, even my group of friends from my class call each other family with Mums, Brothers and me (the little sister) because that's how close we are, and the girls in my flat are like my sisters. I love my friends to bits and would be lost without them. So don't neglect your friends they will be there for you whenever you need them :)

  • Don't be afraid to talk to people - By talking to new people you gain new friends and no one is going to mind if you introduce yourself and strike up a conversation, that's how you make friends. I was terrified to talk to people and when I say people I mean boys (yeah I know I sound stupid) as I had gone to an all girls high school so all of my friends were girls, but once I had started talking to them in class or if we got partnered up I wasn't scared anymore, and now most of my closest friends from University are guys and even one of my best friends is a guy so if I didn't strike up the courage to talk to them I wouldn't have met some of the best people in my life (and I am so glad I did).

  • Don't let what people say get to you  - Okay I think this one may be the hardest as it is human nature to react to what people say about us, whether we know they are true or not , no one knows you like you do so don't give them the satisfaction of thinking they know you when they clearly don't. In my first few weeks I was with my friend group in class which was made up of three girls and four guys and because I was getting on so well with the guys some girls from another group had been saying that I was a big flirt and was flirting with all of the guys, and one of my girl friends come over to tell me this at the end of class and of course I didn't like that they were saying that about me because it was completely untrue, I was just talking to my friends who were guys, nothing else. This did make me feel small and make me slightly change how I acted around them because I didn't want it to be said again until I realised I really don't care what they said, they weren't me, so they could call me whatever they wanted, I wasn't about to change for them. Never let someone make you feel small and never let anyone try to tell you what you are, because they have no idea what kind of person you are and they are not even worth your time.
I hope these bits of advice anyone starting/going back to school/university.
Please leave me a comment and tell me what you think.

The Book Cake Tag

I found this tag and looked like a lot of fun so I thought I would have a go :)

1) Flour - A book that was a little bit slow to start off but that really picked up as it went along.

For me this will be Throne of Glass by Sarah J Maas. I started this a little while ago and it took me a while to get into while Celaena was in Endovier but as soon as she got to the palace and started training and then everything started happening I couldn't put it down I am halfway through it now and I cant wait to finish the book and start the next in the series.

2) Margarine - A book that had a really rich and great plot.

This will be one of my favourite books of all time, which is Stolen by Lucy Christopher. When I first read the synopsis I thought it would be an okay read but when I started reading it I couldn't put it down at all, I finished it in a few hours because of how amazing it was, the plot, writing and characters are impeccable. I first read it when I was 15 and four years later it is still one of my favourites and I always recommend it to other book lovers.

3) Eggs - A book that you thought was going to be bad but actually turned out quite enjoyable.

To be honest this would be a series which I was given as a gift which was The Kane Chronicles. I had read all of the PJO books that were available and love them to bits as I am obsessed with Greek mythology but I was never interested in Egyptian mythology so it never really appealed to me when they were released but when I was given them, I gave them ago, and now I love them as much as I love the other books that Rick Riordan has wrote.

4) Sugar - A sugary/sweet book.

Without a doubt it is Anna and the French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins, anyone who has read this book will understand, and anyone who hasn't; Where have you been?! you need to read this book it is the cutest, sweetest most adorable feel good book you can ever read it!

5) Icing - A book that covered every single element that you enjoy about a book (funny moments, action moments, sad moments, etc.).

A book in which had all these things and I enjoyed would be The Fault in our Stars by John Green. It cute, witty, funny and sad all at the same time. Its beautiful, it is one of the most beautiful books I have ever had the pleasure ti read and if you still haven't read the book or seen the movie please do you will not be disappointed. (But you will need tissues)

6) Sprinkles - A book series that you can kind of turn to for a little pick me up when you're feeling down.

Of course for me this will always be the Bloodlines series. I loved the Vampire Academy series and have fallen even more in love with the Bloodlines series it is my all time favourite series, purely because of the plot the characters and this series contains my OTP; Sydrian which I cant help but grin like a chesire cat every time they are together in the book, and this without fail always picks me up when I'm feeling down.

7) The cherry on top - Your favorite book this year so far.

There are so many amazing books that I have read this year but my favourite is Silver Shadows by Richelle Mead which is the newest book in the Bloodlines series and as I have just expressed my undying love for this series you can understand why it is my favourite book of the year so far.

Hope you all liked this post, I am going to tag
