Scouser Down South

I know its been a while, since I last wrote a blog post, but I have a good reason ... I moved to London! Thats right, this little Scouse girl has moved down south to the capital. Its a very big change but its an adventure.

Obviously its going to be different from living in Liverpool where I lived with my family and surrounded by my friends, but I have been here for 3 weeks now and I'm starting to settle in to my new home. I live in a student house with six other people, all lovely thankfully.

The reason I made this huge move away from my life was because I had gotten a place at University to study my Master's degree in publishing. I have two weeks of uni already and I could not be more sure of my decision to come here. I love my course and everything I am learning about, because its everything I need for my career after I graduate.

To say its a big change is an understatement. Yes although Liverpool is a busy city filled with life and people, it is small in comparison. London is practically the definition of a busy city, although I live in a quiet suburb near my university you still see the business of London in everyone's rushed gazes and pace.

Living in another city, is always something that will take a while to get my head around, and this is definitely true about London, growing up I heard so many things about the Capital, that when I got here I felt the urge to get out there and see everything and take on everything head first. Which is what I'm going to do.

So London, are you ready for this Scouser down south ?

Write again soon x

  1. It’s so great to hear you are enjoying uni and London. Are you right in the heart of the city or on the outskirts?
